Who we are
Steal Run is a platform for run club captains to manage events, track attendance, and grow their communities. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use stealrun.com or app.stealrun.com.
What we collect
When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. We store this to identify you within the platform.
When you RSVP to an event we record your registration. When a captain checks you in at the start line we record your attendance.
We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and debugging.
How we use your data
- To identify you as a member of a run club
- To show captains who has registered and attended their events
- To send you event confirmations (if you opt in)
- To improve the platform
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.
Who sees your data
The captain of any event you RSVP to can see your name, profile photo, and whether you attended. Other runners at the same event may see your name on the participant list.
We use Firebase (Google) for our database and authentication. Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure in the EU or US.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correction of incorrect information, or deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at administration@stealrun.com.
If you are in the EU you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Cookies
We use session cookies strictly necessary for authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via email if you have an account.
